Comicon 2009

A friend of mine got me an industry pass to go to Comicon so I was wondering if anyone else is going...? Trying Human is gonna be all up in dat shizzle yo and I want to know who be representin'. I figured if anyone wanted a doodle of their favorite character I could provide them with such. I'll most likely have a Trying Human shirt on Saturday so that you can find me in the crowd.

What else...

Oh yeah! I just wanted to thank everyone for being super awesome fans of Trying Human. Honestly, I wasn't sure if the comic was going to continue updating online back in August. It was a dark period for Trying Human. σ_σ; It's been slow going but my confidence is building. Thanks again! Also, I'll be letting you all know when the first volume and the artbook are ready. I'm sorry for my crazy perfectionism on the early pages. lol!

My comic 'Roadside', premiered in the Gothology a few weeks ago (I'm so behind on the times hurr) but you can buy it here when it's back in stock: [link] I still haven't gotten a copy for myself yet. XD

AND ONE MORE THING: I'll be doing a Livestream feed today using my webcam to do layouts for Chapter Seven of Trying Human. Layouts are those storyboard-esque drawings that I use to set up the chapters. It lets me know how long the chapter will be and where to place everything. It's good to work ahead! I'm not sure when I'll be doing it exactly but I'll try to make a second announcement soon. As a reminder, my Livestream feed is here: [link]

It works out great except I'm a good half a foot taller than her XD (I guess we'll technically be venture sisters?) But she's bleach blonde and more athletic than me and I'm skinny and brunette so it was pretty much perfect XD I wanted to do a Watchmen thing but she's not really into Watchmen (and there's going to be five bajillion watchmen cosplayers I'm sure) so it works out. XD We were going to make a helper robot but it would take too much time and effort and money I'd much rather spend on nerdy things. XD
